How to choose

Four-color tanks are not photo printers

Canon’s MegaTank G3290 and Epson’s EcoTank ET-2800 are good document printers that can do snapshots. Their ink sets lack the photo channels that give smooth skin tones, which is why they’re not on the photo list above.

The catch

Tank printers like regular use. Print a page every week or two to keep nozzles clear.
