Canon IVY 2 Mini review
My verdictThe best-rated pocket Zink printer in the data: 4.6 from about 4,480 ratings. Canon’s changes over the first IVY are skin tone, contrast and Bluetooth, which are the right things to fix.

Canon IVY 2 Mini in detail
What Zink means for you
There’s no ink and no ribbon. The color crystals are embedded in the paper, and the back of every print is sticky. Canon says the IVY 2 prints from iOS and Android through the Canon Mini Print app over Bluetooth 5.0. Prints are 2 x 3 inches, roughly the size of a business card.
What Canon says it improved
Canon’s listing claims optimized skin tones, better contrast and sharper photos compared with the earlier IVY, plus more reliable connections. I haven’t printed side by side, so read that as Canon’s claim. The independent signal is the owner score, 4.6 across thousands of ratings, which is higher than the other two Zink printers here.
The paper is the running cost
My data pull has no Zink paper listing, so I can’t put a per-print figure on it. Work it out from the pack you buy (price divided by sheets) before comparing it with a dye-sub printer. One more thing to check: on the day of the pull, the listing’s seller was a third party rather than Canon, so confirm who ships and supports it.
The catches
- 2 x 3 only.
- Zink prints are less detailed than dye-sub.
- No paper price in my data, so no per-print figure.
- Third-party seller on the listing I pulled.

What it costs to run, worked out
Zink paper carries the color, so there is no ink to buy. I don't have a Zink paper price in my data, so I can't give a per-print figure. Divide the pack price by the sheet count when you shop and compare that with the dye-sub and film numbers on this site.
What owners say
Amazon shows 4.6 out of 5 from 4,480 ratings on the listing I feature, which is a large sample. Data pulled Oct 30, 2026. A star average says owners are happy, not why; sort the listing by recent and critical reviews before you buy.
